What are they?

AliendudesV2 is a unique and custom character for Smith Micro’s Poser 8/Pro 2010.
They can be posed, morphed to change their appearance, animated and rendered in Poser 8 with ease and are an ongoing model I have been working on for several years so you can expect content updates and upgrades in the months/years to come.

The AlienDudes model was modeled in Newteks Lightwave 3d and UV mapped using several uv mapping programs found on the internet. The textures were first created in Lightwave, then refined in zBrush and finalized using Adobe Photoshop CS5. After porting them to Poser, the textures were setup using Posers internal materials with High resolution texture maps (both color and bump at 4096x4096).

What’s in the package?

The AlienDudesV2.zip file comes with:

1 posable character with over 100 morph targets applied to the head and body. Advanced eye controls that give realistic eye movement for animating. Advance hand and feet controls for easy hand and feet posing
2 High resolution color and bump texture maps for skin
1 High resolution “long underwear” texture map for use with the conforming space suit
1 Conforming space suit with 3 separate parts
Helmet and elbow/knee pads
Boots
Belt with movable clips
1 space ship prop with reflection maps
1 large landscape prop with sky sphere prop both UV mapped for easy texturing
12 different eye color texture maps with bump maps
10 skin material presets with a variety of colors and appearance
18 outer and inner eye material presets
2 sky sphere material presets
2 landscape material presets
2 metal like surface presets for use with conforming space suit (1 normal and 1 rusted)
35 poses specifically for the Aliendudes model due to their multiple hand and feet bones not standard to poser’s universal poses sets.

What can it be used for?

After purchasing Aliendudes from Renderosity online store, you can use dudes in any personal art work, animations, graphics for personal, non commercial web sites (with a direct link to spud3d.com). Any artwork you use dudes in can be displayed on any website as long as you give credit for the creation of the model to me and the artwork isn’t sold for profit without direct consent from me.

What restrictions apply to the model/content within the package?

Aliendudes, their concept and the model belong to me and cannot be used in any commercial products.

You cannot use dudes for commercial products unless you contact me This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
You cannot use files within the package for your own personal models to be sold or given away.
You cannot give any files within the package away or sell them in any other form without my direct permission.
You cannot upload the .zip file in any form or its contents to a website or server. Renderosity is the only site Dudes can be purchased from.
You cannot use dudes in any porn related material on or offline.

How much?

Dudes cost about $20 (Check Renderosity for the type of currency used) and free content can be downloaded from http://www.spud3d.com. Membership is required to download most of the content found on the site but Registration is free and your email/personal information will not be sold or given away. Emails are used for password recovery only and kept only within the site database.
